The POWER of the PACK!

Lucky Dog isn't you average dog walking company! We specialize in long, destination pack walks. We provide service in Madison/Chatham/Morristown. Each outing we take our pack for an on-leash adventure through local parks and trails. In addition to challenging exercise and socialization, every walk is a learning experience as your pup makes bonds with new friends and explores new places. Just like people, dogs need stimulating exercise and change of scenery to keep their bodies and minds strong.

The positive reinforcement of the pack provides your pup with both the physical and mental stimulation they crave. Dogs have a strong instinctual need to socialize and explore the world. Our pack walks fulfill these needs and much more. We guarantee your pup will come home satisfied and relaxed after each outing.

What is a pack walk?

A pack walk is a group of dogs walking cooperatively together, on-leash in a structured environment. It's the most natural state for a dog. In addition to great exercise and socialization it provides your pup with the mental stimulation they need.

On pack walks dogs socialize, but without much physical interaction. This prevents the competition and insecurities commonly seen during off leash play. It’s a different type of socialization than you would see in a dog park or daycare. The dogs are on-leash and focused on the walk. The calming energy of the pack creates a unique camaraderie where each dog feels like part of a team.

Dog runs and daycares can be overwhelming and have negative effects on your dog's behavior. They provide exercise but no training or guidance. The pack provides a productive environment for your dog to exercise, socialize and learn.

Any dog will benefit from being part of a pack!

Some common issues that pack walks can help with:

- Anxious/shy dogs grow in confidence when accepted by the pack

- Reactive and leash-aggressive dogs learn proper social skills and etiquette

- Young dogs learn the social skills they need to grow into healthy balanced adults
